Masterclass: Do It Together Bio #16 at WAAG Society
On Saturday 27 May 2017, myself and Roland van Dierenconk will give a masterclass 'Extracting Pigments From Algae' at WAAG Society.
In this masterclass we will show participants what kind of pigments are secluded in algae and how they can be isolated. When the pigments are extracted, we will show them some applicabilities, like how to use them to make paint or ink. The methods we will show are applicable to organic matter in general, so participants can use their new found knowledge on basically anything mother nature provides.
