I was invited to speak and join the panel discussion at LANDac 2024; IOS Fair Transitions conference in Plenary Session #3: Imagining the Possible.
The session was framed by an introductory keynote given by Kumi Naidoo, who, already for 40 years, has been a voice amongst many for social, economic and environmental justice. After a Q&A the floor was given to Peter Akkerman of the NGO "Het Bos Dat Van Zichzelf Is" (The forest that owns itself) and I followed up with my own presentation, specifically focussing on my work with the Embassy of the North Sea throughout the years. The rights of nature movement was central to the discussion with the public afterwards.
It was a great pleasure joining this session and meeting such beautiful minds from all over the world!
